PUBLIC NOTICE:

The main launch and bandshell areas off Sinsheim Rd. will be closed from Wednesday, June 10 at 11PM through Monday, June 15, 8AM for the Experience Codorus Outdoors fundraising event for the Friends of Codorus State Park.

What is Experience Codorus Outdoors?

It is a celebration of outdoor fun, environmental education, good food, live music and local craft artisans overlooking the beautiful Lake Marburg at Codorus State Park.
Saturday, June 13, 2026
11am - 6pm and
Sunday, June 14, 2026
11am - 5pm
🌂 RAIN or SHINE
🎟 $15 Per Car Admission
🐦 Early Bird Special $13 PER CAR when purchased online in advance. $13 early bird pricing will end June 1, 2026.
Tickets on sale NOW and at the gate the day of the event.
No refunds or exchanges. No re-entry.

☠ Halloween campers! This is a one of a kind chance to participate in Codorus Trick or Treat, held on October 23 and 24. Come camp with us for the weekend, if you dare!

🎃 Decorate your site and hand out candy to the thousands, yes, thousands of kids who come to trick or treat.

🦇 You will be part of the magical transformation of C and D loops in the campground at Codorus to a family-friendly, haunted, spooktacular trick or treat extravaganza! Our campers pull out all the stops! You can't decorate too much!

👻 Reservation fee is for Thur, Fri and Sat nights. $75 for sites with electric, and $60 for sites with no electric. Fees are non-refundable. Must sign up for both nights.

🕸 LIMITED sites available. They go super fast! So call right at 9 AM on June 15 at 717-476-1630. If no one answers right away, leave a message. Don't keep calling back again and again. Someone will return your call in the order it was received.

🌦 This event is rain or shine.

🌙 Be sure to visit our website to read the Site Agreement so you understand all you're being asked to do.

Kids 13 and under: $10 - must be accompanied by a parent.

😎 Join us for the next Paddle for the Park event at Codorus State Park!
Bring your kayak, canoe or paddle board to explore the lake and visit up to five docks to play a round of 'Go Fish'!
🃏 Each paddler will start with a hand of cards and travel to as many docks as possible in the allotted time to try to gather the best 'Go Fish' hand.

🏆 Prizes will be awarded to the best hand, and multiple giveaways will be provided from our sponsors.

💀 Deadline for last year's campers to reserve their site is Monday, June 1, for Codorus Trick or Treat. If you don't make your reservation by the end of that day, you will forfeit the site you had last year. If the deadline has passed and you still want to reserve a site, you must call us on June 15.

📂JUNE 15! All remaining sites will be open to anyone to reserve for this year's Codorus Trick or Treat.

📞 Be sure to call 717-476-1630 right at 9AM and leave a message if no one picks up.

🏃‍♂️ All calls are returned in the order they are received. Sites go super fast!!!

👀 Be sure to read all reservation details at: https://www.codorusfriends.org/campers.html. This isn't your typical camping experience!

P.S. This is only in reference to participating sites in C and D loops. A and B loop reservations are made as usual through the DCNR website, although, A loop is currently closed for upgrades. No date has been set yet for the opening of A loop.

Experience Codorus Outdoors and see all of our critters!! On June 13th and 14th our visitors will get to visit with Ryan the Bug Man, Reptile Smiles. Acorn Acres Wildlife Rehabilitation, Reptile Invasion, West Shore Wildlife Center, Keys to Bees and more!
The last week is coming up to buy discounted tickets at $13. After June 1, $15 per car! Still a deal for all day fun outdoors!! In addition to critters, critters, critters..... games for kids of all ages, American history of our local area celebrating 250 America, craft show, vendor sponsors and food trucks to purchase lunch, dinner or snacks! Commemorating Memorial Day
🔹 This Memorial Day, we have a chance for thoughtful reflection as we honor those who gave their lives in service to our nation at the Veterans Memorial Grounds in Codorus State Park.
🔹 Open to the public now through October 31 from 8am to sunset daily and again on Veterans Day, Nov 11.
