Jack Daniel Ison Jr. Scholarship Fund "Live Your Dreams" Scholarship Fund is in memory of Jack "Daniel" Ison, Jr. Daniel died after suffe Daniel passed away on June 13, 2008.

The "Live Your Dreams" scholarship is in memory of Jack "Daniel" Ison, Jr. Daniel was a Honorary Graduate of Southwestern High School Class of 2008. Daniel was in a motorcycle accident on June 21, 2007 and suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. Daniel believed you should "Live Your Dreams" because you never know what tomorrow holds. Daniel is the son of Jack and Beverly Ison, older brother to Ellie an

d Erin Ison, and uncle to Jaxon Ison. Currently, this scholarship is open to any Southwestern High School student who wishes to further their education by attending college, community college, or technical school.

Thank you so much to everyone who attended the Jack “Daniel” Ison Live Your Dreams Golf Scramble today. We are beyond touched that Daniel’s friends support Daniel and will help us never let Daniel be forgotten. I love you all so much. A huge thank you to our scholarship recipients Braxton Lewis, Colton Chandler and Aurora Scroggins for sharing today with us. We are honored to be part of your future education. The golf scramble isn’t possible without all the behind the scenes help. There’s so many of you, thank you. Thank you to everyone who sponsored a tee, golfed and especially those teams and winners that donated their winnings to the scholarship. Daniel would be so happy. Let’s make next year even better.

The 2026 Jack “Daniel” Ison Memorial Scholarship winners…
We were so blessed to hand out 3 scholarships this year to some very hard working, extremely smart and talented students with bright futures.

Braxton Lewis will be attending Georgetown College with a major in finance.
Colton Chandler will be attending Ivy Tech/Georgia Lineman School with a major in Industrial Maintenance.
Aurora Scroggins will be attending Miami University with a major in Primary Education.

It’s almost time for the 18th annual Jack Daniel Ison Jr. “Live Your Dreams” Memorial Scholarship Golf Scramble. We are looking forward to seeing everyone so please make sure to mark your calendars and get ready for a great day of golfing.
