🍎❤️ Miss Hanover at the National Apple Harvest Festival!❤️🍎

Our Miss Hanover contestants spent the past two weekends volunteering at the National Apple Harvest Festival, giving back to the community and supporting this wonderful local tradition!

A huge THANK YOU to the Upper Adams Jaycees for welcoming us and allowing the Miss Hanover family to be part of such a great event! We are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside such an amazing organization. 🍎

Miss Hanover, Lilian Crabbs, also spent the day exploring the festival, enjoying the beautiful weather, and trying some of the delicious goodies the festival had to offer! 🥧🍏

🎃🎉 WE ARE SO PROUD TO ANNOUNCE OUR 2026 HANOVER HALLOWEEN PARADE GRAND MARSHAL!🎉🎃

The Hanover Area Jaycees are incredibly grateful and honored to announce Michael Mummert as the 2026 Hanover Halloween Parade Grand Marshal!🧡

Mike has dedicated so many years to serving the Hanover area, the Hanover Area Jaycees, and the Miss Hanover Pageant. His commitment to our community is truly something special. He has devoted 34 years to the Miss Hanover Pageant as our emcee and continues to give his time, knowledge, and heart to the program today. 💜👑

A Little About Mike

Michael Mummert is a resident of Dover, PA, and has devoted many years to community activities. Mike currently serves as Treasurer for the York White Rose Lions Club and is a former Chairman of the YAIAA All-Star Basketball Games. He is also a recipient of the prestigious Melvin Jones Fellowship Award.

For 22 years, Mike was an active member of the Hanover Area Jaycees, where he received the Jaycee Ambassadorship, the United States Jaycees’ highest honor. During his time with the Jaycees, Mike served as a Chairman, Consultant, and Master of Ceremonies for the Miss Hanover Area Pageant.

His pageant experience extends far beyond Hanover. Mike has served as Judges Chairman for the Miss South Central Pennsylvania and Miss York County Pageant, was a former board member of the Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Program, and served as a State Field Director. He has also judged several pageants within the Miss America Program.

But beyond all of these accomplishments, what makes Mike so special to us is the person he is and the heart he continues to give to this community.💜

For more than three decades, Mike has poured his time, knowledge, encouragement, and friendship into the Miss Hanover family.

And even during a very difficult and important time in his own life, Mike continues to show up, support the Miss Hanover Pageant, and give whatever he can. That kind of dedication is something you don't forget. It speaks volumes about the person Mike is and the love he has for this community and the people in it.

You have given so many years to the Hanover Area Jaycees, the Miss Hanover Pageant, and our community — and we are honored to have the opportunity to recognize you as our 2026 Hanover Halloween Parade Grand Marshal.

We couldn't think of anyone more deserving to lead the way!

🎃👻 Please join us in congratulating Michael Mummert!👻🎃
