Hanover SNAP Hanover SNAP (Special Needs Athletic Partnership)- provide children with different abilities or special needs to take part in athletic and other activities

Hanover SNAP (Special Needs Athletic Partnership) is a newly formed organization working in cooperation with other Hanover community organizations and the Hanover Public Schools. Hanover SNAP’s vision is to create a program that will provide children with different abilities or special needs and their families with the opportunity to take part in athletic activities and other recreational programs

that are generally not available through mainstream programs. Hanover SNAP athletic programs will be specifically designed and tailored to meet the needs of the participants. We intend to train coaches, as well as high school and middle school age students who would act as mentors, to work interactively with the participants with special needs with the goal of producing a well-rounded, positive, inclusive experience for everyone involved.

Please consider joining this wonderful event!

When my son was 2 and newly diagnosed with Autism resources and events like this did not exist! All of these resources at our fingertips is all I could have hoped for!
