Denise Dunn, a devoted member of the Kiwanis of Hanover and the driving force behind YACTA, shared the organization's founding story. Denise's aim with YACTA was to make tennis more accessible to young people. YACTA features tennis, pickle ball, and pop tennis, as well as multiple programs for youth and adults, and currently has a membership of 1,400!

Last evening, we had the privilege of meeting the four Kiwanis Scholarship recipients from South Western, New Oxford, Hanover, and Delone. It was uplifting to hear all of their high school achievements and what they hope to achieve in the future.

The Kiwanis Club of Hanover and South West Key Club teamed up for a morning of trash pick-up. It was amazing to see so many young volunteers lending a hand to keep our town clean!

Tonight we welcomed four foreign exchange students. We learned about each of their countries and what they’ll remember most about the states. A big thank you goes out to Ayusa, Deb Bowers and all of the host families for making this possible! The students who joined us this evening were Elanor from Italy (attending New Oxford), Jesus from Spain (attending New Oxford), Mo from Tunesia (attending New Oxford) and Nicole from Equator (attending Littlestown).
