We reject traditional Greek life because we believe it is outdated and under represents our generation. People from all walks of life can now attend college and university, unlike a hundred years. GPA minimums prevent people who are truly amazing, but struggling in their new academic environment, from joining Greek life. We believe those who are struggling deserve just as much of a chance to participate in Greek life as someone who is excelling. We believe being in Greek life can help one improve academically, and contribute locally. Why bar those who need the most help, while only allowing those who don't need as much help or no help academically? This makes no sense to us. We'd rather accept all people, and aid those who need it the most, rather than turning them away and telling them to improve before trying again. We believe our generation deserves second chances, and that privilege should not determine your Greek affiliation. We want people to learn from us, grow with us, and help other people with us. We are the new generation, and we want change. If you do too, join us.
