YWCA Hanover’s new Children’s Learning Academy is taking shape, and we invite community members, families, and local businesses to become part of this lasting investment in our region through our Honor Wall Sponsor program.

🏗️✨ Progress is happening at YWCA Hanover’s new Children’s Learning Academy! ✨🏗️

Exciting developments continue as construction moves forward on this transformational project that will expand access to affordable, high-quality childcare for families in our community.

Recent progress includes:
🔹 Third-floor classrooms taking shape
💡 Lights and diffusers are being installed
🚻 Tile work is underway in staff restrooms
🔹 2nd and 3rd floor restroom FRP and flooring installation
💡 Ceiling lights dropping in on the 2nd floor
🎨 Portions of the lobby are now painted
🏢 Chimney and EIFS exterior work continuing

When complete, the Children’s Learning Academy will serve up to 250 children and feature specialized spaces including a sensory room, STEM lab, art/music/theater room, outdoor education center, large kitchen, and more.

This Capital Campaign is about more than a building—it’s about creating opportunities for children to learn and thrive while giving hardworking families access to safe, nurturing, and affordable childcare.
