Mount Olivet Cemetery Mount Olivet Cemetery has been serving Hanover and the surrounding community since 1859. The Mt. It is a serene and beautiful hill overlooking the town.

Olivet Cemetery Association was founded in 1859 in Hanover, Pennsylvania. We are a non-profit, non-sectarian community cemetery governed by a Board of Managers who are elected each year and serve without remuneration. Management of cemetery grounds is by a Cemetery Manager, appointed by the Board of Managers, this manager is authorized to enforce all of the Cemetery's rules and regulations. Our grounds crew is justifiably proud of the excellent condition of the cemetery’s landscape.

Fall Clean Up is happening November 1st through November 15th. During this time, ALL items will be removed from the grave sites. Examples include but are not limited to flowers, temporary vases, flags, flag holders, figurines and keepsakes. Please remove any items you wish to save BEFORE November 1st. If you are unable to come to the cemetery but wish to save an item, please call us at (717) 637-5294. Thank you for helping to keep Mount Olivet Cemetery beautiful!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us at the Snack Town Fall Fest yesterday! 🎃🧡We had a blast giving out Halloween goodies and spooky temporary tattoos! It was so nice seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones, including this adorable trio of pet skunks! 🦨 We’re so honored to be a part of this amazing community. Happy Fall! 🍂🍁

Thank you to everyone who attended our 22nd Annual Pet Blessing & Memorial Service yesterday! We had beautiful weather and a wonderful time with everyone's furry friends. Special thanks to Marian Wolf for coordinating this event and bringing some wonderful treats, to Steven Edwards for being our master of ceremonies, to Sister Deborah McClellan for leading prayer and blessing the pets and to our staff for their time and dedication to this event. 🐾🌈
