COVID 19 certainly has changed a lot of things this year and Caring For Kids is NO exception!! Unfortunately, with the current situation, our regular Caring for Kids campaign cannot happen this year. BUT, as like many other organizations, we are shifting our process as we are still committed to provide help for those in need in our community this holiday season!
Introducing…Gifts for Kids!
This year, Gifts for Kids will be an extension of our “Adopt A Family” program, however it will focus solely on kids! Families may sign up by emailing [email protected].
How can you help?
The Hanover Area Food Shelf community is amazingly generous, so this year we are asking for monetary donations only. Due to COVID, we are not accepting purchased gifts. Instead, our volunteers will use the donations to purchase gifts from the kids’ wish lists! Donations can be accepted any time the Food Shelf or church is open.
