ATTENTION ALL CLUB MEMBERS!!
After a few years of being closed, the Legion Trail is officially open! A lot of hard work by club members and volunteers, as well as numerous meetings with the landowner, went into bringing this trail back Please be cautious because this trail is still settling in and rough. Take your time and try to even out the surface by riding outside of others wheel marks. This will help to level the surface so a stone top coat can be applied.
The landowner shut this down once and it won't take a lot to lose it again!

** Obey all signage and stay on the marked trails
** Stay out of the drainage ditches and planted fields
** Be a help to the club and fellow riders. If you are able to snip a low hanging helmet slapper or remove a minor obstacle, please do.
** Report any trail problems to this page or message the club.
** Try to be an ambassador for the club and show the public we care. Doing this can open up new relations with landowners and officials to help expand our sport!!

The Hannibal American Legion is accessible from this trail. Stop in, sign the guest book. Drinks and restrooms available. Sorry, no food unless they are doing a fundraiser.

Will be here selling raffle tickets this weekend come help us sell tickets while the family goes to the crafters and pick berry’s . Can use all the help we can get selling . Memberships will also be available. Get to see one of the stops of our neighbor club Apple Valley Wheelers .

Lots of rain last night ride with caution and let us know if anymore trees are down here on Facebook . One of us will see it and get a maintenance crew message out . Please stay on the trails don’t ride the ditches it costs us 1000s of dollars to hire the ditch work out we could put that money elsewhere. Have fun be safe . Overhead pruning with loppers or prune branches on the legion trail along the way if you feel like helping us . We are behind on maintenance while trying to keep up and we will take all the help we can get . Mowing will begin soon . It already has on the Cato end .

Oswego Valley ATV Club would like to thank Brandon Gianbolvo, who just got home from work and went out to clear trees from the club trails.
Another thank you to Mary Elia for sending in a trees down report to the club.
Teamwork and volunteering like this, helps everyone in our club by keeping the trails open.

Great meeting tonight.Thank you to everyone who attended and a big thank you to Cato American Legion for allowing us the use of their meeting hall.
The reopening of the Legion trail, Club Badlands and future trails was discussed as well as recognizing the hard work of the volunteers who have helped to get them open. The next meeting will be posted as soon as a date and venue is determined.
Congratulations to our 5 early bird winners who have their choice of another raffle ticket or their money back.
