🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes, One Flag and Flower at a Time 🇺🇸

We had the honor of joining the Flags and Flowers Challenge with Preston Sharp — a young man who, ten years ago, decided to make a difference by honoring our Veterans. What began as one boy’s mission to ensure every hero is remembered has grown into a nationwide movement.

We’re proud to stand alongside this effort, helping prepare for Veterans Day and paying tribute to the men and women who served our country with courage and heart.

💙 Way to show what’s possible when someone decides to take action and make a difference — one flag, one flower, and one act of gratitude at a time.

Join us and 70+ other vendors and resources as we come together to help assist our warriors in their personal lives and recovery! OHD will be cooking hot dogs and hamburgers all day, the Shasta County VSO will be onsite doing claims, Nations finest, and many other great organizations as well as schools will be in attendance. Everything from training centers, employers, benefit agencies, county agencies, and so much more will be on site. Join us at the Anderson Fair Grounds, meet our team, and enjoy a burger or hot dog and support the many vendors in attendance! Message us if you need a ride in the Shasta County area!

We lift our prayers up for this man and two women who usually fight to save others lives as first responders, but are now fighting for their own lives. One of the nurses is named Susie, as we pray we ask that you join us in praying for a healing miracle that only God as the Master Physician can deliver. We ask that the families involved find some sort of comfort as we lift up our prayers to help save these first responders from their injuries. May God heal their injuries and bring them all home to their families.

A large-scale response is underway in Sacramento after a REACH Air Medical Services helicopter crashed onto Highway 50, shutting down eastbound traffic Monday night.

Multiple crew members were taken to area hospitals, according to a statement from REACH Air Medical Services.

There is Strength Through Recovery! Come get connected to a community that is fun and believes recovery is possible.

Join us from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, at the Lake Redding Park Pavilion and Gazebo for FREE food, carnival snacks and family fun.

Listen to inspiring testimonials from people in recovery and talk with substance use treatment providers at the event's resource fair.

This annual September event is organized in observance of Recovery Happens Month, a time when we celebrate the gains made by people in recovery, educate the community about treatment and unite to break down stigma surrounding substance use challenges.

Recovery Happens is made possible by a collaboration between local nonprofit treatment providers, sober living homes, health clinics and government agencies. The committee works throughout the year to plan the month’s festivities.
