When choosing a car seat or booster seat, keep children in each phase of protection for as long as possible through the upper weight or height limits of your child safety seat

It's National Distracted Driving Month. Tell your kids to Speak Up when they see something unsafe.

Even when kids feel unsafe riding in a car with a teen driver, it can be tough to speak up. Listen to the frank responses teen gave.

Keep your kids rear facing as long as possible--it provides the greatest protection. And don't rush them into a seatbelt. Keep them in a booster until they can pass the 5 Step Test:
