Hancock Celebrates America’s Birthday – Join Us on July 5th!

Main Street Hancock is excited to participate in Hancock Celebrates America’s Birthday at Widmeyer Park on Sunday, July 5th!

Brought to you by the Hancock Arts Council, this special community event will feature music, food, family activities, and a celebration of our nation’s history and heritage.

Be sure to stop by the Main Street Hancock booth to share your ideas for our upcoming Town Mural Project. We want to hear what makes Hancock special to you—our trails, river, history, small-town charm, and community spirit.

Dust off your dancing boots and join the Hancock Arts Council for a Free Community Dance on Sunday Feb. 15 (snow date Sun. Feb. 22) at 2pm at the Hancock Town Hall. This is a fun event for young and old alike. Live music will be provided by the Wind Dance String Band and light refreshments will be available.
Musicians, John Devine, fiddle, Tim Smith, guitar & Ashton Cole, banjo will play traditional dance tunes while Leslie Devine-Milbourne calls the moves to circle, square, and long line community dances. Bring the whole family for an afternoon of live music and dance! If you don’t feel like dancing just tap your foot and watch the fun.
