All of us at Hanceville Knapsacks for Kids want to wish everyone a safe and happy summer. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank ALL of the wonderful people of the community that show up (and show out) for this program every year! We packed knapsacks 30 weeks of the 2025-2026 school year. And each week we were joined by a lovely group of volunteers from the Hanceville community. Over that 30 week period we packed a total of 3800 bags! At an average of $12 a bag, that means that you guys helped us send home $45,600 worth of food to children for the weekends. We could not do this without all of you that donated time and money!! And we thank you so much for all that you do!!
Also, we welcome anyone that would like to donate time or money to please do so. Anyone who is interested please feel free to contact the page.
Everyone have a wonderful summer! We will see you all in August.
