Aloha All. We can’t wait for you to visit Hanalei town but to help with traffic and parking woes we’re asking that you ride down on the Alii Kai Activity shuttle. It’ll get you to your boat ride or activity on time and in comfort without having to be concerned about parking and where to leave the car. Thank you to everyone who has made this happen. Aloha.

This weekend at Anainahou’s Porter Pavilion, island businesses, and individuals are invited to be part of the North Shore Rotary’s Catch a Wave Finals. Looks to be a fun event supporting Kauai’s small businesses who are the backbone of our community.

The Hanalei Business Cooperative is hosting a FREE Sunset Cinema night THIS Saturday June 2nd, and shopping/dining specials to encourage locals and visitors to frequent the town and continue to spread the word that we are indeed open for business.
This Saturdays event will follow the following itinerary

3pm - 6pm Shopping specials at many retailers in town
4-5pm - Face painting on the Hanalei Center lawn
3pm-7pm Happy hour and drink specials
7pm/sunset - Short films
The films being shown will be as follows
Special preview to Bethany Hamilton's new upcoming release - Unstoppable
Dawn. F. Kawahara's Documentary - Ke'a Hu'a Laka - A Door to Hawaiian spirituality
Joel Tudors' Sprout Surf movie

It will be hosted at the Ching Young Shopping Center immediately in front of the Ching Young Stage (between Chicken in a Barrell and Backdoor Surf shop.) We hope you will support our community by enjoying this free event with family and friends. There is some seating but we encourage you to Bring a Buddy and a Beach chair.
