Hello friends! Day 10 of Around Hanahan takes us to Hawks Nest Park, Hanahan’s newest 53-acre park, located at 1177 Williams Lane near Bowen’s Corner Elementary and open to the public daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The park packs a lot into one spot with six tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, basketball court, playground, fishing ponds, multipurpose and artificial-turf fields, two baseball/softball fields, a pavilion, walking areas, and plenty of open space for families to enjoy. It’s another great example of how Hanahan continues to invest in places where our kids can play, neighbors can gather, and our community can spend time together — I’ll see you around Hanahan!

Day 9 of Around Hanahan takes us to Roma Road Park in the Eagle Landing area.

It’s easy to focus on the bigger projects around town, but these neighborhood spaces matter too. They give families and neighbors a place to get outside, spend time together, and enjoy their own corner of Hanahan.

Sometimes it’s the smaller things that help make a community feel like home.

⚾ Day 8 of Around Hanahan — Hello friends!!
Tucked away on Loftis Drive is Loftis Field, a neighborhood field used for baseball and softball with plenty of open green space around it.
It’s a quieter little corner of Hanahan and definitely one of the lesser-known spots we’ve featured so far.
How many of y’all knew Loftis Field was back here? 👀

Day 7 of Around Hanahan takes us to Creekside Park on Steward Street.
This is a beautiful spot with a fishing pier, kayak and canoe launch, pavilion, walking areas, and some great views of the creek and marsh.
Whether you’re fishing, launching a kayak, relaxing under the pavilion, or just enjoying the scenery, Creekside is a great place to spend a little time outdoors.
Have you been to Creekside Park yet? If not, you should check it out!!

🏡 Monday Mortgage Update

Mortgage rates have moved higher again, but buyers still have options.

Certain ARM programs can still get into the 6s, seller concessions may help buy the rate down, and the bigger picture now comes down to inflation, oil prices, and what happens in the bond market.

If those pressures ease, mortgage rates could get some relief.

The key right now is not assuming the headline rate is your only choice.
