FIVE MORE DAYS to submit your response to the Parks & Recreation Master Plan Community Survey!

Find us at the parks tabling to administer printed surveys, facilitate your completion of the online survey provided with a QR link, or answer questions. Schedule is as follows:

Wednesday (8/19)
noon-1pm: Pope Park and Zussman Park

Thursday (8/20)
3-4pm: Salam Peace Park and Holbrook Garden Park
4-5pm: Veterans Park and Playfair Park

Friday (8/21)
4-5pm: Pulaski Park and Sarah Garrett Park

Again, this survey is being conducted to: help shape future parks programming, better serve park users through broader participation, better communicate park opportunities, and to fulfill the needs of the upcoming Hamtramck Parks & Recreation Master Plan.

The Master Plan will be submitted to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR), making us eligible to pursue grant funding for further park development in the City.

Last Saturday, HPC— with the City of Hamtramck, Hamtramck Public Schools, and the Hamtramck Recreation Department— launched a Parks & Recreation Master Plan Community Survey with a special focus on parks programming and communication.

The survey is being conducted to: help shape future parks programming, better serve park users through broader participation, better communicate park opportunities, and to fulfill the needs of the upcoming Hamtramck Parks & Recreation Master Plan.

The Master Plan will be submitted to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, making us eligible to pursue grant funding for further park development in the City.
