Early this week bike pumps were replaced at both Pulaski and Veterans Park. HPC worked with North End Woodward Community Coalition who generously gifted and installed the new replacement pumps. We are glad to have found a solution that conserved resources by preserving the existing concrete pad and replacing only the dysfunctional part, rather than installing an entirely new, full bike repair station.

These pumps are awesome! With a gauge on top, users can pump to their specified pressure. Pumps are metal and can be used with both Presta and Schrader valves. Stop by either Veterans Park off the southwest corner of the tennis courts or the southeast corner of Pulaski Park for quick self-service on your rides.

Thank you to all who joined us for our National Tennis Month Celebration at the Veterans Park Hoxie Courts- especially United States Tennis Association, Southeastern Michigan for instruction, Hamtramck High School Cosmos tennis teams and coaches, and hometown tennis heros!

Thank you also to The Birmingham Athletic Club for new donated bleachers and Nicholas Nadjarian for his recent donation of tennis equipment, bags, and rackets.
