Now through Oct. 31, the Goodfellows are accepting applications for the 2023 Holiday Gift Program. Serving kids aged 4-13 in Detroit, Highland Park, Hamtramck, Harper Woods, River Rouge, Ecorse, and Redford, we make sure no kiddie is without a Christmas. Our sister organization The Detroit Goodfellows do an outstanding job, heeding the call, and there is a fair amount of overlap all the way into Hamtramck. We are separate organizations, attempting to meet the same goal, “No Child Without a Christmas”

Working in teams, nearly 20 A Time to Help volunteers packaged 2,600 dental kits in just over two hours on Saturday!

It is time to start planning on this years Goodfellow fundraising campaign and distribution. We have to raise the money first, and then make sure how to best achieve our mission to make sure “No Child Without a Christmas” here in Hamtramck. We will need volunteers to help with solicitation letters, preparing the letters, addressing the envelopes and preparing for mailing.

Today, Friday December 13th, is the last day we are accepting applications for assistance for 2019.

We are also in dire need of donations to help provide a Christmas meal to those less fortunate and in need.

Our friends at Polish Sea League, Baker Streetcar Bar and Srodek's Campau Quality Sausage Co. all have canisters for you to drop a donation into.

This year Hamtramck Goodfellows assisted over 150 needy Hamtramckans - half of which were children. Thank you for your support and help in continuing our goal of 'no child without a Christmas.'
