Awhile back, I shared that I'm participating in the Cleveland Clinic's Alzheimer’s/Dementia study. I received several calls from people who saw my post and enrolled as well. Some participants were found to have brain tumors in very early stages, while others had early signs of heart disease or dementia.
If you have parents or grandparents with Alzheimer’s or dementia, please consider enrolling in this study.
Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic has a study for Parkinson's disease. If you enroll, feel free to message me, and I can connect you with the scheduler.

NAACP Virginia State Conference Demands Apology from Congresswoman Jennifer Kiggans

Richmond, Virginia - The NAACP Virginia State Conference condemns Rep. Jen Kiggans for agreeing with a radio host who said, “Jeffries, get your cotton-picking hands off of Virginia.” Such remarks perpetuate harmful stereotypes and contribute to a divisive racial climate.

As an elected official, Rep. Kiggans must promote unity and respect for all constituents. We call for a formal apology for these comments and urge her to engage in meaningful dialogue that uplifts our communities.

“Words matter, and when elected officials use racially charged language, it undermines the very fabric of our communities.”, stated President Cozy Bailey, President NAACP Virginia State Conference. “Rep. Kiggans' agreement with such comments is deeply troubling. We must hold our leaders accountable and demand a standard of respect and dignity for all Virginians.”

Explanation on the twisted Redistricting Referendum ruling today.
Passing a referendum requires to be passed twice with a l election (not Redistricting) in between.. 1. Passing the legislation in session 2. Have a general election in between 3. Pass it again in session. There was a special session on 10/31/2025 and Nov. 3rd election. The referendum was voted a 2nd time during the 2026 General Assembly session that approve April 21st redistricting referendum election. Remember, the Tazewell judge filed an injunction to stop the referendum's early vote.
The VA Supreme Court ruled to continue with the election and they will rule afterwards. The republicans filed several lawsuits calling foul that early vote for the November election started in September before the special session. The Supreme Court of VA ruled on thier favor 4-3
Question? Why the hell didn't the courts rule a "technicality" before the election ? Why would they allow the election go still happen. Political theater has got to stop. Let's go to work!
