After serving our great country by being in the U.S. Army, I found myself wanting to serve others by doing something that allows me to have a more direct hand in helping others. GOD's Helping Hands was created to assist elderly people who are living on a fixed income by helping them to pay for much needed medicines that they cannot afford to purchase. There are people wit
hin our communities, all over the U.S. that are taking high blood pressure medicine, insulin, etc, every other day or so because they cannot afford to purchase a full month's supply of medication. When living on a fixed income where their food stamps have been cut to just $9 a month, they are forced to make a decision, one that they should not have to make, "Do I buy food or buy medicine?" It is my deepest wish that GOD's Helping Hands will alleviate this problem for them. Alone, I was helping several elderly people to purchase their full month of medication but then I thought, "What could I accomplish if I got others to help?" Our immediate goal is to help 100 elderly personnel for one year each. These funds will be paid directly to the pharmacist where they have their prescription filled. Our ultimate goal is to become a non-profit organization and be able to assist people all across the U.S. with their prescription needs. Even a donation of a dollar will help us to reach our goals. By donating to this cause, you will help someone to obtain the medication that they desperately need. Aimee Lawson comments
I have always wanted to help people, especially our senior citizens, be able to live a better life. Our senior citizens helped shape us and this country into being better productive people. They are the jewels and wisdom of our generation, who have sadly been subject to low income, in which they try their best to survive off of what they are given. They truly deserve so much more. Our mission is just a small step in helping them but it will create amazing results. Imagine them being able to take their medication as prescribed and living a healthier, longer, more fulfilling life. This is a monumental chance to help our elderly parents, grandparents, neighbors, church members, friends, associates, veterans, and so many more senior citizens understand that we care and we want to help. Our generation is thriving off the hard work that they have put in over the past years and now we can say thank you by just simply helping them pay for their medicine. Every dollar counts there is no amount to small or too big when it comes to helping others. Help save the wisdom of our nation, our senior citizens, and donate to this cause at http://www.gofundme.com/mj2dww. When you donate please understand that you have helped someone live another day.
