The Air Force Sergeants Association (AFSA) invites you to join us for the 2026 AFSA Golf Tournament on Thursday, October 29, 2026! ⛳

Come out for a fun-filled day of golf, friendly competition, great food, and camaraderie. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or simply looking for an opportunity to connect with fellow Airmen and members of our Joint Base Langley-Eustis community, we welcome you to participate!

JBLE POW/MIA Memorial Clean Up: AFSA Chapter 358 is partnering with Serve the City (STC) to provide an opportunity for our JBLE community to come together in service while honoring and preserving the memory of our nation’s POW/MIA heroes.

Event Details:�📅 Date: 15 September 2026�⏰ Time: 0800–1000�📍 Location: POW/MIA Memorial, behind the 633d Dental Squadron�👕 Attire: Comfortable attire or uniform

Volunteers will assist with maintaining the memorial grounds and ensuring this sacred space remains properly cared for and respectfully maintained.

The AFSA Raptor Chapter 358 is seeking 30 motivated volunteers to support an upcoming 9/11 Remembrance event by helping garden, clean-up and maintain the greenhouse located at the Hampton Roads Urban Agriculture farm.

Hampton Roads Urban Agriculture is a nonprofit organization committed to reducing food insecurity through urban farming, educational programs, and creating a sustainable food system within our local communities. They manage community gardens that help train veteran and community members in growing food and developing agricultural skills while also promoting healthy eating initiatives. A large portion of the food that is grown is donated directly to individuals and families in need. The organization also supports youth programs focused on agriculture, STEM education, entrepreneurship, and developing future community leaders.

Our support helps increase access to healthy food options, encourages community development, and is a great opportunity to represent AFSA while giving back to the Hampton Roads community. Tools and gear will be provided at the event.

This weekend, our community came together at Yorktown National Cemetery for Wreaths Across America.

The presence, reverence, and unity were deeply moving. We are especially proud to recognize A1C Dillan George, who honored the moment by proudly representing the United States Air Force and Langley Air Force Base with dignity and respect. To all who served, to the families who carry their stories forward, and to the military personnel and community members who showed up to remember them—thank you! Your presence ensured that these heroes are never forgotten. We pause to reflect on their legacy, their sacrifice, and the lasting impact of their contributions to our nation and the U.S. military. May we continue to honor them not just in remembrance, but through gratitude, service, and unity every day. 🇺🇸

Happy Thanksgiving from our chapter! Today, we’re especially grateful for the opportunities we’ve been entrusted with, the support we’ve received along the way, and the incredible team we continue to build. We’ve accomplished a lot this year—and we’re still hungry for more (pun fully intended).

To all our military families, stateside or overseas, we hope your day is filled with great food, warm company, and a moment to breathe and enjoy the holiday. We’re thankful for the Airmen who came before us, those serving today, and the future leaders who will carry the torch forward.
