AFSA Chapter 358 "Raptor Chapter"

AFSA Chapter 358 "Raptor Chapter" AFSA Chapter 358 is a non-profit Veteran Service Organization located at Joint Base Langley-Eustis

AFSA is a total force organization dedicated to the PEOPLE who have served, are serving, our Veterans and our retired. The men and women behind the high tech machinery, the military protocol, the daring maneuvers ... the people who have invested their lives in the cause of freedom in America. Each year Congress makes hundreds of decisions on issues that directly affect the lives of enlisted people

and their families. Important issues such as medical care, job security, salaries, commissary privileges and other benefits. There was a time when the voice of the enlisted Airman was nowhere to be heard ... until the Spring of l96l, when a handful of men came together to form the Air Force Sergeants Association. AFSA is an international organization dedicated to speaking out on behalf of enlisted Air Force personnel and today, with nearly 135,000 AFSA members, the voice of the enlisted rings strong on Capitol Hill. AFSA's membership is comprised of all services, all ranks, both active and retired, of all grades, including Air National Guard and AF Reserve, and offers an Auxiliary program for family members of Air Force personnel. The Association is headquartered in the Airmen Memorial Building just minutes from the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., and only one mile from Andrews AFB, MD.

This weekend, our community came together at Yorktown National Cemetery for Wreaths Across America.

The presence, reverence, and unity were deeply moving. We are especially proud to recognize A1C Dillan George, who honored the moment by proudly representing the United States Air Force and Langley Air Force Base with dignity and respect. To all who served, to the families who carry their stories forward, and to the military personnel and community members who showed up to remember them—thank you! Your presence ensured that these heroes are never forgotten. We pause to reflect on their legacy, their sacrifice, and the lasting impact of their contributions to our nation and the U.S. military. May we continue to honor them not just in remembrance, but through gratitude, service, and unity every day. 🇺🇸

Happy Thanksgiving from our chapter! Today, we’re especially grateful for the opportunities we’ve been entrusted with, the support we’ve received along the way, and the incredible team we continue to build. We’ve accomplished a lot this year—and we’re still hungry for more (pun fully intended).

To all our military families, stateside or overseas, we hope your day is filled with great food, warm company, and a moment to breathe and enjoy the holiday. We’re thankful for the Airmen who came before us, those serving today, and the future leaders who will carry the torch forward.

Wishing you all a wonderful and well-deserved Thanksgiving! 🍁
