You're invited to our 2026 Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 6!

We'll meet at the Mansfield Center property of long-time member Lee Dunbar and his family. This will be a great opportunity to meet fellow landowners and forest lovers and to visit a property that has been managed for diverse and sustainable forest ecosystems.

From 9:00 AM to noon the Natchaug Watershed Advisory Group will be leading a forest tour on Lee's property and will be available to answer questions and provide information on how we can help meet their goals of ensuring that the waters and land within this watershed are protected from sources of pollution while raising awareness of the role that each of us plays to maintain high quality water resources.

The Annual Meeting will begin at 1:00 PM, after the tour and a light lunch provided by Lee and the Dunbar family. Please register for the tour and lunch through the UCONN portal at s.uconn.edu/hf=cwreg or by calling Jessica at (860) 345-4511. You may also scan the QR Code in the image below.

Happy Earth Day! Celebrated annually on April 22, Earth Day is a great reminder that our actions matter. Forest management not only provides opportunities for economic growth and recreation, it also supports healthy and resilient habitats for a better, more biodiverse future.

As the spring ephemerals awaken and migratory birds return to the forests of Northeast Connecticut, today is a great day to pay homage to the little blue dot we all call home. 🌱🌎💚
