BROTHER TO BROTHER

Directions

BROTHER TO BROTHER I am my brother's keeper. Mr.. James and Mr. Moore operate as the program advisers.

In 2011, after seeing the groundbreaking work of SISTER TO SISTER, Hakima Muhammed, visionary and founder of SISTER TO SISTER conceived the idea to establish a similar program, except one geared toward mentoring male youth.

1n 2012, Muhammed with a great group of young men from Hampton University established BROTHER TO BROTHER. On a trailblazing path as its sister program, BROTHER TO BROTHER works tirelessly to change the community through health fairs, family events, and a wide spectrum of volunteering. BROTHER TO BROTHER operates Saturdays under R.I.S.E., which is an abbreviation of Raising Individuals’ Self-Esteem. The program functioned on Hampton’s campus under Black Males in Motion before working independently.
