Why SAO Wednesday Jenna
I knew before coming to college that I wanted to get involved in a christian ministry, because it was something that was very important to me. I joined IV and CCM and explored many other ministries on campus. I heard about starting a christian sorority my freshman year and was super excited that I could combine sisterhood and Christ together! It wasn’t until the summer coming into my junior year that I started to get more messages about starting SAO on JMU’s campus. I was hesitant at first because I am super busy, but I trusted the Lord to work in my life and others through SAO. I have loved being part of SAO! I can be myself, I can share my faith, the hard things and the good things. We are all woman in college trying to navigate this crazy life. What a blessing it is that we can lean on each other and the Lord when things get difficult but also praise the Lord together when things are going well in each others lives. SAO is a sisterhood that will forever impact my college experience, and I don’t regret it one bit! Thank you Jesus for putting these girls in my life at the right time! Thank you for your timing and not mine!
