Well another festival has come and gone. For such a cold and rainy day the turnout was impressive. Thanks to all of the dedicated patrons who braved the weather to bring their families out. And thanks to all the country volunteers that worked so hard to make this festival what it is.

As always thank you everyone in the Parks & Recs Department for all you do putting on this amazing event that benefits so many. :D

It's a few weeks into the new year and we have had of first Festival meeting of the year. Some new faces this time, great to see. Friends of ICF has 3 board openings. If you are interested in being a member don't forget to submit your name for nomination.

I have a calendar page set up for the web site... It's a US program so it comes standard with US holidays. What I would like is for each country to add their own holiday and observances when the site goes live. You'll be able to give the post a brief description, maybe a few traditions or activities as well.

Great news! We are taking pre-orders for the AWESOME Eat and Explore Virginia Cookbook! The books cost $18.95 a piece and the proceeds go to Friends of ICF in order to benefit the International Children's Festival. If interested please send emails to [email protected]
