"Thanks" to the Sarah Bonwell Hudgins Foundation and "Tick Tock Around the Clock" Child Care, for allowing our Special Friends Exchange Club members to "plant" Blue pinwheels, as part of Child Abuse Prevention Month (April)... The first-ever joint meeting with the Hampton and Lynchburg, VA, Special Friends Exchange Clubs... Thirty of our finest Exchangites came together to discuss the community service projects they perform in their local communities... The Special Friends motto: "We want to give back to the community that has given us so much"... On November 22nd, the Special Friends Exchange Club of Hampton, VA, held their 4th annual "Feed the Homeless" project at Bethany United Methodist Church, in Hampton... Feeding the homeless seems to be a natural "fit" for our club members... Our members welcomed our guests, gave away "goody" bags (which included warm socks, hard candy, and other comfort items), and served a traditional Thanksgiving dinner... Our Special Friends Exchange Club members are very proud to do their part in making our local community better for all of its citizens...

A number of Special Friends Exchange Club - Hampton members were out bowling this afternoon... They bowl every Saturday ...

Explorer Post 140, the "largest Special Needs scouting unit in the nation"... with Brian Parker, Michele Malone, Candy Masters, and Linda Mansfield...
