is a professional association for registered professional nurses and student nurses (male and female) representing many cultures and diverse ethnic backgrounds. More than 8000 Registered Nurses and Student Nurses hold membership in Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. There are over 81 graduate chapters and 39 undergraduate chapters located in 26 states, District of Columbia, St. Membership is by invitation and is both active and honorary.

💛Bridging the Gap: An Afternoon of Connection, Community & Fibroid Freedom 💛

On June 19, 2026, Gamma Chi and Mu Phi Chapters of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated, celebrated empowerment through education, advocacy, and access to care at this special Juneteenth event focused on women’s health and fibroid awareness.

Women of color are disproportionately affected by uterine fibroids, making awareness, early detection, and informed treatment decisions more important than ever. This complimentary event for nurses and healthcare professionals will provide valuable information while fostering meaningful connections within our community.

Today, the Gamma Chi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated® joins the global community in recognizing World Sickle Cell Awareness Day and raising awareness about sickle cell disease (SCD), an inherited blood disorder that affects millions of individuals and families worldwide.

Sickle cell disease disproportionately impacts individuals of African, Hispanic, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and South Asian descent. Through education, advocacy, early screening, and access to quality healthcare, we can help improve outcomes and support those living with this condition every day.

Let us continue to:
🔹 Increase awareness and understanding of sickle cell disease
🔹 Encourage genetic counseling and screening
🔹 Support individuals and families affected by SCD
🔹 Advocate for equitable healthcare and research advancements

💚🩺 Promoting Heart Health, One Screening at a Time! 🩺💚

On June 6, 2026, the Sorors of Gamma Chi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated partnered with Opulence Hair Studio to provide free hypertension screenings and health education to members of the community.

✨ 22 adults were screened
✨ Meaningful conversations about blood pressure awareness and healthy lifestyle choices
✨ Educational resources and one-on-one counseling provided
✨ Healthy snacks, encouragement, and support to help participants take charge of their health

We are grateful to the staff and clients of Opulence Hair Studio for their warm welcome and enthusiastic participation. Together, we are making a difference by bringing health education directly into the community and empowering individuals to know their numbers and protect their hearts.

Gamma Chi Chapter celebrated Nursing Excellence at our 38th Annual Scholarships & Awards Luncheon, Derby style,🎩👗🌹🏇 on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort, Stone Mountain, GA.

✨️ Thanks to the support of our sponsors, families, friends, and members, we awarded $11,000 in nursing scholarship and grant funds 🎓 and celebrated the following award recipients for their outstanding contributions to nursing and to the community:
