We're proud to recognize several Franklin County farm families honored at the 2026 Iowa State Fair through Iowa's Century and Heritage Farm Program.

🎊🏆🥩Please join us in congratulating Refugio Contreras for his impressive success at the 62nd Annual Iowa Farm Bureau Federation Cookout Contest at the Iowa State Fair. Refugio claimed first place in the beef category and he also won the showmanship award, bringing home prize money and a permanent trophy. Congratulation's Refugio!!! 🎊🏆🥩

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us on Thursday during Farm Bureau Day at the Fair! We appreciate all who came out and helped make the day a success.
A special thank you to our volunteers at the Ag Learning Center. We couldn't have done it without your time, dedication, and support.
We'd also like to extend our gratitude to the Franklin County Farm Bureau Board of Directors for taking time out of their busy schedules to organize and host this event. Your hard work and commitment to agriculture education and community engagement are greatly appreciated.
