Program for 17-24 year olds in Eastern CT interested in getting a great job! The program is available to eligible young adults age 17-24 in Eastern CT.

This program combines an employment curriculum to improve competitiveness in the job market and to learn valuable labor market information. Opportunities to earn free workplace credentials (including a high school credential) are available. The program provides career opportunities such as paid work experiences, job shadows/internships and assistance with job search including references. In some cases, transportation can be provided.

Congratulations JET Participant Brianna!
Brianna has received the Academic Achievement Learner of the Month award from EASTCONN Adult and Continuing Education for October!

Brianna is making progress in her GED studies, but she is also enrolled in two college classes. Not only is she taking college classes, but she is the President of the Sign Language club. Brianna has also earned multiple Northstar digital literacy certificates.

On top of all that fabulousness, she completed JET's Customer Service Training and earned her National Retail Federation Customer Service and Sales Credential!

VITA offers tax preparation for free for individuals who earn less then $60,000 a year.

There offices are located in Putnam, Stafford Springs, Vernon/Rockville, Enfield, Manchester, South Windsor, Rocky Hill, and Waterbury.
