Do NOT cook on Saturday! Run, walk, bike, drive, or crawl to Langley Christian Church this Saturday, 2 May for homemade treats, pork BBQ, chicken BBQ, beans, Cole Slaw, & macaroni & cheese. Eat in or carry out from 11AM-4PM, 175 Fox Hill Rd, Hampton, VA 23669. The little round church across from the fire station. Proceeds go to Fox Hill Community 5K which supports HELP, Inc.. Food lovingly prepared by Just Us Food Ministry. You're going to be glad you came.

Running is fun, see? Hey it's about 7 weeks until race day. My prize elves are working their magic. I have to order shirts 2 weeks before hand, soooo, please register early!

Are you excited, because I am. Picking up the t-shirts tomorrow. We have 160 registered for the race and more each day. You can register online until Wednesday night, then come see us either at Langley Christian Church, 175 Fox Hill Rd on Friday, 30 May from 5-7PM to either pickup your race bib and shirt or register. We'll also register you race morning. If you registered after 17 May or later, then check with us to see if we have any extra shirts (I ordered extra). Weather looks swell for a run/walk 31 May, Saturday morning at Gosnold's Hope Park.

My first marathon, Lake County, IL, 1996. Yes those are socks on my arms. Finished in 4:22:20. I almost cried when a lady gave me oranges at Mile 22. You will be A LOT WARMER on 31 May when you join us for the Fox Hill Community 5K run/walk.

8 weeks out and I just got the race medals. Weather is starting to be conducive to your training, so no excuses, let's get registered for the race. Throwback Wednesday (I know it's supposed to be Thursday)- this still young lady at our inaugural run in 2010.

Hope your training is going well or if you haven't started, yet that it will go well. We're about 11 weeks away from race (or walk) day. Go ahead sign up now to give yourself a little motivation and join the 15 or so that have already done so. My door prize elves tell me that they caught a leprechaun and have enough gold for many door prizes!

We're live on runsignup and I'm submitting our paperwork for the 12th Annual Fox Hill Community 5K. Any recommendations for race prizes? We've done something different every year.

The Fox Hill Community 5K is on Saturday May 31, 2025. It includes the following events: Fox Hill Community 5K, Fox Hill Community 1 mile fun run, and Fox Hill Community 5K WALKER.

A huge THANK YOU to all our sponsors and participants! We were able to raise over $6500 for the HELP, Inc. foundation. As many of you know this is a family run event and many hours behind the scene are spent making race day excellent. None of this is possible without OUR RUNNERS!!
