Thank you, Hampton Falls.

I’m truly grateful for the trust you have placed in me and for the many thoughtful conversations I’ve had with so many of you along the way. Your insights and perspectives are invaluable. To everyone who supported me on this journey — by putting up signs or offering encouragement and advice — thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This experience has shown me time and again how deeply people care about Lincoln Akerman School and about the kind of town we want to keep building together.

Serving on the School Board is a responsibility I take seriously, and I look forward to listening, working collaboratively, and helping ensure our school remains a strong and connected part of Hampton Falls.

I believe in our educators.
I believe in our students.
And I believe in this community.

When we lead with care, clarity, and collaboration, our school and our town thrive together.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve.

— Marya

Good school board leadership starts with listening.

Listening to educators.
Listening to families.
Listening to community members.

It means balancing perspectives with care, respecting taxpayers, and making thoughtful decisions that support students and educators while protecting the long-term health of our school and our community.

That’s the kind of leadership our community deserves.

Strong school. Strong community. Thoughtful leadership.

Strong schools are at the heart of a strong community.

When we support a well-run public school, we support the people who live here today — and the future of Hampton Falls.

I’m proud to call Hampton Falls home.

My son Wyatt is a second-grade student at Lincoln Akerman School. Being his parent has deepened my appreciation for how important it is that schools work well for all learners. Every child brings their own strengths and potential into the classroom.

I come from a family of teachers, attended public school, and spent 20 years as a communications executive—listening carefully, managing real budgets, and helping organizations solve complex problems and make thoughtful decisions. Those experiences shape how I show up: with care, responsibility, and a genuine commitment to listening.

A strong public school benefits everyone.

It supports children and educators, strengthens our community, sustains property values, and helps ensure Hampton Falls remains a place people are proud to call home—now and for generations to come.

That’s why thoughtful, steady school board leadership matters.
I’m running because I believe our school deserves leadership grounded in what’s best for all learners, educators and the whole community.

Strong School. Strong Community. Thoughtful Leadership.

Hi, I'm Marya Ketchell, and I'm running for the one-year seat on the Hampton Falls School Board.

Nearly five years ago, my family and I chose to make Hampton Falls our home. We moved here because of the strength and care that define this community — and because of our strong public school.

Lincoln Akerman School is more than just a building. It's a place where children are known, where they learn and thrive, where teachers and staff are invested, and where the values of this town show up every day.

I believe our strong school creates a strong community. It supports children and educators, helps sustain property values, and reflects the kind of town we are — and the kind of town we want Hampton Falls to be.

I'm running for School Board because I care deeply about this school and this community, and I would be honored to serve.
