Welcome back, Sea Turtles! 🐢💙 What a great first day!

We hope that everyone made it home safely (even if you had to swim!) through that crazy storm that, of course, decided to roll in right as school was letting out! ⛈️ Shout out to our bus drivers + teachers and staff holding it down in the car pick up line! 🙌🏼

So happy to have our Sea Turtles back at SCE and can’t wait to see everyone again tomorrow…hopefully back in the sunshine! ☀️

Thank you, Sea Turtle families! 🐢💙 We loved seeing so many of you at Open House and are so grateful to everyone who stopped by our table, joined the PTA, donated, offered to volunteer, and grabbed class and spirit shirts. Your support means so much!

Meet SRO Kelley! 👋

⭐ Years as an SRO: 2
🎓 Years as an officer: 8
❤️ Favorite part of being an SRO: Mentoring and supporting students and being part of the school community
🔥 Fun Fact: His path of service started with fighting wildfires for the U.S. Forest Service, before serving 8 years active duty in the Navy and another 5 years in the Navy Reserve.
