Great Story!!!
A soldier with PTSD fell in a hole and couldn't get out.
A senior NCO walks by and says "Suck it up, soldier." then threw him a shovel. The soldier just dug the hole deeper.
A senior officer walks by and says, "I see you already have a shovel. Here's a bucket." The soldier dug the hole deeper and filled the bucket.
A psychiatrist walked by the hole and the soldier yelled, "Help me, I can't get out." The psychiatrist gave him some drugs and said, "Take these, they'll relieve the pain." The soldier took the pills but when they ran out he was still in the hole.
A clergyman walked by and again the soldier called for help. The clergyman gave him a bible and said, "I will pray for you." The soldier was grateful and read the bible, but he was still stuck in the hole.
Another soldier with PTSD passed by and the soldier in the hole cried out for help again. "Hey help me. I'm stuck in this hole and I don't know how to get out." Without hesitation his brother jumped into the hole with him. "What are you doing? Now we're both stuck," the soldier said. His brother replied, "Calm down. It's okay. I've been here before and I know the way out. Follow me."
Don't go it alone. Coastal Horizons employs some people who've been in that hole and they too know the way out. Call any of the following numbers and ask for the SAVN Veterans Outreach Program.
