🥖 EVERYONE, PLEASE MEET BREADSTICK🥖

We’re not entirely sure what happened in the genetics department here, but we are VERY thankful it did. 😂

Breadstick is 3 years old and appears to be what happens when a Dachshund or Corgi and a Pitbull somehow collaborate on a group project.

The result? A big ol’ handsome head, a sturdy little body, and the BEST tiny legs you’ve ever seen. 😭😂

But Breadstick isn’t just ridiculously adorable—he’s also an absolute sweetheart. ❤️

Sophisticated gentleman “Decatur” made his way from the Manhattan ACC to his foster-to-forever home in Brooklyn 🏡

This sweet 10-year-old pup was sadly found stray in the Bronx on Decatur Avenue, hence his name. He was brought to the ACC by the NYPD and had a hard time acclimating in the shelter. He needed a soft place to land, not to be euthanized.

He found just that with Tiffany. He is settling in beautifully and enjoying relaxing on the bed and soaking up all the love he deserves 🥹

Thank you, Tiffany, for opening your heart and home to this sweet senior pup.

Next weekend, 5 beautiful dogs from our amazing rescue partner,Crossed Paws Pet Rescue, will be making their journey north — and we would LOVE for each of them to have a welcoming home waiting when they arrive. 🏡❤️

We are looking for FOSTERS OR ADOPTERS for all five!

Every foster home that opens their door gives one of these pups a soft place to land, decompress, and feel safe while they wait for forever. And of course, the BEST outcome would be for some of them to step off transport and go straight into the arms of their forever families. 🥹🐶

Here we go again 🫠🙃

🚨 We just received a call for an owner surrender of a litter of six 8-week-old puppies🐶

We need to save our spaces at the rescue for dogs scheduled to be coming next week, so we desperately need Puppy Fosters!

The puppies will get their first round of shots and deworming tonight, and will need a second round of shots in three weeks before they are available for adoption, so please be able to commit to at least 3 to 4 weeks!

🚨 $5 FRIDAY — WE DESPERATELY NEED OUR VILLAGE 🚨

In just the past TWO WEEKS, we have saved more than 10 dogs from euthanasia lists. ❤️‍🩹🐾

We want to keep saying YES when a shelter reaches out about a dog whose time is up. But right now, we desperately need your help to be able to continue.

We want to be transparent about what saving these dogs actually costs:

🐾 When a dog has hundreds or even thousands of dollars in “pledges,” we typically only receive about 10–20% of those pledged donations.

🚐 Every dog we pull from an out-of-state shelter costs approximately $175–$250 just for transport.

🐶 We’ve had a LOT of puppy adoptions recently. While puppy adoption fees are $400–$500, their spay/neuter surgeries alone cost us $220–$280 each — before vaccines, food, preventatives or supplies.

🏠 Our fosters open their homes and hearts, and we provide the supplies — food, crates, toys and everything else their foster dogs need.

❤️‍🩹 This week alone, we had SEVEN dogs spayed/neutered. Our bill was $1,740.

And those are just a few of the expenses that come with every life we save.

We know $5 may not feel like much. But if everyone who sees this gives just $5, together it becomes another transport fee. Another vet bill. Another dog we can say YES to when their life is on the line.

Every single dollar donated goes directly toward caring for the dogs already depending on us and giving us the ability to save the next one from euthanasia, neglect, or abandonment.
