Meet, Maria ! 👋🏼

Maria started volunteering at the rescue this week and she is simply AMAZING!! Maria works at a local boarding kennel, owns 2 gorgeous shepherds and is an absolute dog lover! She has been willing to get her hands dirty, snuggle all the pups, and even arrived before I woke up yesterday 🫣😉 Big thanks to April Corson for helping Maria with her orientation. This has been an extraordinarily crazy couple of weeks and these two ladies have helped me SO MUCH!

Update: Prospector has been found!!!! 🎉

He was located by a kind gentleman just about a block away from the Foster’s home hanging out at a dog park. He is currently secured and we are working to have him reunited with his foster soon!

We are so relieved and happy 🙏🏼 Thank you all for the positive thoughts and prayers for our boy! 🐾💕

Adoption #77 of 2026!

Rocky from NYC is officially out of the shelter and headed to his forever home! 🏡

We are so excited for this handsome boy. He is a gentle giant and will have the best life with his new family that has owned many shepherds in the past and have 2 fenced acres for him to run and play 🥹🐶

We are sad to report that Prospector from NYC is currently missing. He arrived at his foster in Brooklyn on Saturday night and during fireworks after the Knicks game he managed to scale an 8-foot chain link fence and escape. He is scared and unfamiliar with his foster family so he will likely not be easy to secure.

He has been reported missing to ACC, Petco Love Lost, Home Again Microchip Company, and the foster has been posting flyers all around her neighborhood.

We are asking that NO ONE go and look for him at this time as he is so scared. We are just posting for transparency.

Accidents happen and our foster has done everything right since he has been missing. We will be contacting tracking services as a next step and we are hopefully that Prospector will be found safe. Please keep him in your thoughts! 💕🐾

Update on Momma Macey: she is home now and resting. She has a UTI and it still shedding her uterine tissue due to having several litters in the past.

She has started on meds and should be feeling better soon!
