The Hammonton Sesquicentennial Committee is a group of volunteers who are enlisting the Town of Hammonton, individuals, civic groups, and community minded businesses to help plan and promote a variety of events throughout 2016 to celebrate this unique event. Official announcement will occur at the Hammonton Town Council Meeting on May 18th. There's much more to come...join us and help us blow out the candles on a once-in-a-lifetime cake.

The Hammonton Sesquicentennial Time Capsule was officially sealed today, it will be opened for the Town's 200th Anniversary in 2066! Thank you to the Hammonton Lion's Club and the Hammonton High School Technology and Industrial Arts Program for coordinating this effort, in cooperation with the Town's Sesquicentennial Committee. The Time Capsule Sealing concludes the 150th Anniversary Celebration series of events. Look forward to viewing a documentary recapping the year-long festivities on Hammonton TV Channel 9, very soon.

Hammonton Peach Party is this Saturday, July 30th from 10am to 1pm in Downtown Hammonton at 209 Vine Street in the parking lot across from The Eagle Theatre. The free, interactive walk through Hammmonton History Exhibit will be open too!

There will be plenty for families to enjoy at the 4th annual Hammonton Peach Party on July 30.
