💗 FROM FUN & GAMES TO COMMUNITY & CARE 💗

Our hearts are with our Northwest Indiana community following the devastating derecho that swept through the Region. So many of our neighbors are facing damage, power outages, displacement, and the difficult work of rebuilding. 🙏🏾🌳🏠 This includes the location of Wicker Park where Field day was supposed to take place.

At Sisters Who Will Inc., we believe that community means showing up for one another—especially when times are hard. 💕

Our Field Day was planned as a day of laughter, connection, food, and family fun. But right now, we know that many families have much more important things on their minds.
We are keeping everyone affected by this storm in our thoughts and prayers. As we move forward, we will continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of our community and share updates regarding our Field Day event.

💗 Northwest Indiana, we are stronger when we stand together.

⛈️ Learning to Dance in the Rain 💗

These storms and this crazy weather have definitely been challenging, but in the middle of it all, there’s been something beautiful happening.

We’re seeing communities come together. Neighbors are talking again. People are checking on one another. Kids are outside playing. Families are slowing down and spending time together. 🤝🏾🏡

Sometimes life doesn’t wait for perfect weather. Sometimes we have to learn to dance in the rain. 🌧️💃🏾

Maybe this is a reminder to slow down, reconnect, look out for our neighbors, and appreciate the people around us. Maybe it’s a little reset we didn’t even know we needed.

The storms may pass, but let’s hold onto the community, connection, and sisterhood they reminded us of. 💕
