Great morning for Garden Club! We weeded, watered, spread mulch & straw. We harvested more radishes, lettuce & snap peas. Then we went inside for lemonade, more radish crackers, lettuce tasting & air fried radishes!

Perfect weather for our last Garden Club meeting of the school year. Next week we start meeting Wednesday mornings from 8:30-10am.

We weeded, planted some zinnia seeds, harvested some lettuce & radishes. We quickly got inside to do some taste testing with our harvest - lettuce & radish with cream cheese on crackers… and of course, lemonade!

So much progress was made in our garden boxes today! We weeded, removed dead plants & planted so much!

We had our first field trip the year today! We had 9 student go to Allerton Park after school. The students helped identify & sort plants for the park’s upcoming plant sale! We had time to walk a trail to the Fu Dog Gardens & let the kids run around a bit.

This morning before school a group picked squash blossoms. Then after school, the whole group dug deep in the plants & picked tomatoes! Then we went inside & made fried squash blossoms, bruschetta & “caprese bombs!” We wish you could smell & taste this post! It was so yummy!!!
