More than 400 students served since 2014, and it starts with partnership.

In Hammond, local businesses, faith groups, Petra College, and Petra Academy are helping remove barriers that keep families from getting ahead, from workforce training and scholarships to childcare support for student parents.

Since 2023, more than $90,000 in scholarships has gone to underserved individuals and single women pursuing healthcare careers. Petra College graduates have a 90% placement rate across all programs. If your business, church, or organization wants to support this work, we’d love to connect.
