On Tuesday, May 12 the Hamlin Fire Department celebrated 19 members for their years of service to our community.
The following four members reached the 50 and over years of service and were read a letter from State Assemblyman Steve Hawley congratulating them on this amazing achievement.

It's almost time to get your 13th Annual Hamlin Sportsman Raffle tickets! They will be handed out for department members to sell on Tuesday night, May 5.

Tickets are not for sale here on Facebook.

So find your favorite HFD member, or go to the Hamlin Town Clerk's Office and get'um while you can. They sell out fast.

The Hamlin Fire Department monthly meeting had a fun addition when our three newest interior firefighters were honored for graduating Firefighter 1. Chief Maier, Past Chief Barker and Assistant Chief Clark presented awards to Firefighter B. Croce, Firefighter C. Prince (who is now a third generation Hamlin firefighter) and Firefighter K. Wilson. Refreshments were provided by the Hamlin Fire Department Board of Directors after the ceremony.

Long time Hamlin Fire Department members Tony Bovenzi and Past Chief Daryl Prince are reminiscing here after a recent fire call. There is a lot of knowledge and history in those two. The community and the department has benefited greatly from their commitment over the last five decades. Thank you.

Cy-Fair Battalion Chief Deserto started out as a Jr. Firefighter and worked his way up to Captain before moving to Texas. This thermal imaging camera project was his idea.
