The volunteers with HART will be unavailable *May 22-25* and *June 18- July 6th.* There will not be anyone available to answer any messages or help during this time. Please understand, we are a small rescue with limited volunteers and help our community constantly so, we have many things we put off of our own to be able to help our community and have to take time every once in awhile to catch up on our personal commitments. Hey community! PLEASE SHARE ❤️
We are needing to raise funds to help our community animals during the hot weather that's inevitably on the way. We provide large water buckets, tethers to get them off of heavy chains, new collars because they will outgrow them and start cutting into their neck, feed bowls so they do not have to eat food off of the ground. We provide kiddie pools to some depending on the owner's approval. This year, we would like to be able to build covers for the ones that are in the sun all day so they have shade with airflow.
We really need to raise around $1000.oo (+) at least because the price of items and materials have risen drastically.
We will absolutely accept *new* pieces of scrap wood, 4X4s 5' or longer, bowls, buckets, collars and tethers. Because of viruses and diseases able to be spread, we can only accept new items for these.
If you prefer to buy items yourself to donate, that is greatly appreciated also. We generally pick up items from Tractor Supply or Walmart in Rockingham NC. Just let us know you are ordering so we will make arrangements to pick up.

We are going to do a new party!!
It's called The Beautiful Black Dog Party! For $65 you can have your black dog, any breed, male or female, spayed or neutered, rabies and microchipped for $65!
You will be responsible for getting them to Vass to the spay and neuter clinic BY 7:30 that morning and pick up at the time they tell you when you drop them off.
We only have 5 spaces and 1st come will get these spots. You must pay within 5 days of contacting us.
