Elves on the Run 5K

On December 15, 2018, there will be a 5k race named “Elves on the Run” and a 1-mile race named “Jingle Bell Jog” which will be held in downtown Hamlet. The main race event will start and finish at First Presbyterian Church in Hamlet, NC. The racers will run through the streets of downtown Hamlet, as well as the surrounding neighborhood around the church.

The purpose of the race is to raise money for children whose families are in need and cannot afford to buy these children Christmas. This race will help to allow these children to have a Christmas just like everyone else. “Because Every Child Deserves a Christmas!” At the event, there will also be donation boxes set up for school uniforms, coats/hats/gloves, and a box for Toys for Tots. These items will also help our families in this community. The children will be chosen through Richmond County Schools.
