CORE - Consortium for Ongoing Reinvestment Efforts

CORE - Consortium for Ongoing Reinvestment Efforts An Organization for Prosperity in Hamilton, Ohio's City Center.

To help accelerate Hamilton’s downtown revitalization and reduce the financial barriers to investing in the urban core, a public-private partnership consisting of the City of Hamilton, the Hamilton Community Foundation, and local lending institutions established the Consortium for Ongoing Reinvestment Efforts (CORE) in December 2012. This powerful partnership operates as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)

and provides the necessary capital to reduce financial risk and offer a strategic framework from which catalytic projects can be initiated. CORE manages funds for strategic commercial and below market single-family residential real estate property acquisition and investment. While CORE’s initial focus area is within Hamilton’s urban core - which includes the Central Business District and immediately surrounding areas of German Village Historic District, Main Street & Rossville Historic District, South East, Dayton Lane Historic District and East High Street - its efforts are not limited to this area.
