Chris was born with baseball in his blood. Chris played through West Side Little League and Millville Youth Baseball. He was also known to set up his own field in the front yard and became known as a fixture to all who traveled Carlisle Ave. As a young adult Chris joined as many softball teams and pick up games he could. This boy lived for spring weather and the fresh air that brought a new ball season each year.

Chris was born with a congenital heart defect: Persistent Truncus Arteriosus is a rare cardiac abnormality that has a prevalence of less than 1%. https://www.chop.edu/conditions-diseases/truncus-arteriosus

Although Chris was born different and encountered a life time of challenges he NEVER let them stand in his way of playing ball and being a Fanatic Sports Fan.

As a family we want to remember our lefty and give back to Cincinnati Children's Hospital. We will be donating a portion of funds raised to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to be used to purchase food vouchers for families during their child’s stay on campus. It’s with the generosity and talents of the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Heart Institute that we were honored to have Chris in our lives these past 26 years and we hope to build a fund to help other families.
