Please join us in welcoming Kelsey Allen to the team! A West Chester native, Kelsey brings strong ties to the local community and a background in supporting children and families. She previously worked with Help Me Grow and has experience in ABA therapy, parent coaching, and working with children with autism. She earned her degree in Family Studies from Miami University.

Kelsey joined the team as a Community Wraparound Facilitator. She enjoys partnering with families during challenging times and providing support, particularly during moments of crisis.

Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys spending time outdoors with her 6-year-old son, Jack. Their favorite activities include hiking, biking, swimming, and camping. Some of her all time favorite trips were to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Kelsey also enjoys spending time with friends and family, including her boyfriend and his two children. When she’s not exploring the outdoors, you’ll likely find Kelsey with her “emotional support water bottle” or her beloved dog, Ollie, a Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu mix. She is also very involved with her church, Red Door Church.

We’re excited to have Kelsey on the team and look forward to the experience and perspective she brings to our work with youth and families.

We’re grateful to partner with Butler County Educational Service Center and Butler County Family & Children First Council W.I.S.H. Youth Homelessness Project on the HOPE Laundry Access Pilot. ❤️

For young people experiencing housing instability, something as simple as having clean clothes can become a real challenge. Whether it’s preparing for school, a job interview, starting a new job, or simply trying to get through the week, access to laundry matters.

When this need was brought to our attention, we knew it was something Highly Favored Foundation could help with. With the support of our donors, volunteers, and community partners, an idea turned into something practical that can help young people move toward greater stability and independence.

We’re especially grateful to Beth, Executive Director, pictured here with our Founder and Executive Director, Alberta Ablordeppey, for her partnership and for the work her team continues to do for young people in our community.

We may not be able to meet every need, but when we come together, we can make a difference one need at a time. 💙
