They identify what makes them happy or calm, what to do when they’re upset, what they’re good at, and who they can talk to when they feel sad or stressed.

Mental health tip: When kids can name their tools and supports before big emotions hit, they’re more confident navigating them later.

Unit 2 kicked off at Winton Woods! 💛

Our first session was all about getting to know one another, building trust, and introducing the heart behind Next Gen Mental Health. So much laughter, connection, and excitement for what’s ahead.

Kids under 6 learn best through connection, modeling, and hands-on activities — and we love giving them the tools to understand and express their feelings with confidence.

🌟 School Spotlight: The Brilliance School

Kindergarten scholars at The Brilliance School got creative with a nationwide Alphabet Exchange! Students crafted adorable bears inspired by the letter B and mailed them to partner classrooms across the country. In return, Brilliance received colorful creations representing H, J, L, and V—adding to their growing collection.

ERCO applauds The Brilliance School for fostering curiosity, creativity, and collaboration in this fun, engaging learning experience.

💛 Kindness matters more than fitting in.

🌿 Real compassion means understanding how others feel and choosing actions that uplift, not harm.

We’re so thankful for every school, church, and community event that welcomed Next Gen Mental Health this fall! From pumpkin fests to trunk-or-treats, we’ve loved meeting families, sparking conversations, and helping kids and teens build emotional awareness. 💛

Our first day at the Winton Woods Boys & Girls Club! 💪🏽

Every session begins with a quick mental health check-in and assessment so we can tailor our approach to the real needs of the students we serve.

It’s about more than lessons — it’s about listening, learning, and creating a safe space for growth. 💙

🌟 Exciting News from One Village of New Miami! 🌟
We’re thrilled to announce a brand-new program — Girl’s Village! 💕
In partnership with Christ Tabernacle Apostolic Church Next Gen Mental Health Program and the Fitton Center for Creative Arts, this empowering program is designed for girls in grades 2nd–6th.

📅 Kick-Off: Monday, November 3rd (Mondays Only)
📍 Location: New Miami High School Cafeteria
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Girl’s Village offers a safe and engaging space for girls to build confidence, creativity, and emotional wellness. Participants will learn to:
💬 Understand and express their emotions
🧠 Develop healthy coping tools for everyday stress
🎨 Explore creativity through hands-on art activities
💖 Build friendships and connect with peers
🌟 Lead with purpose and help break the stigma surrounding mental health
✨ This program is free, and all materials are provided!
