Would there be any interest in a weekly or monthly artists meet up to network, discuss art, collaborate & Occasionally have someone demonstrate various types of art techniques or discuss different mediums etc?like one week its a spin jam nrxt time a painting party, stitch and bitch and whatnot? Yo, so for awhile now I have carried some type of art supplies with me in my every day carry. And I will randomly set up and create art In a public place that you wouldn't expect to see an artist. I am hoping that this will not only spark positive reactions from the general public but to do so while allowing people to meet others that they never would have met otherwise due to lifestyle/class/social differences. To facilitate positive change in the art community & allow for a broader spectrum of knowledge within it. And lastly using our art to overcome stereotypes & change the minds of some who may look down on some us based off of appearance/class/etc.

If this works like it has been so far it will also open new opportunities and give us a family of likeminded artists who are dedicated to bettering the art community. So next time you have a few hours free I challenge you to take your art supplies, whatever medium you choose, and go to a public place to create. And to use the opportunity to educate or encourage the curious. Pics and stories of your RPA are always welcome! Suggestions are as well! This is a learning, sharing and supportive community and I am hyped to see what we can do!
