The disorder is so rare that there are less than 100 people worldwide living with GAN. Because GAN is an extremely rare disorder the funding for research and trials is very limited. w working together on a new gene therapy that may halt the progression of the disease and may possibly repair some damage in nerves that are not yet dead. Update 1-11-23: Good news! Aaron's test came back good! He won't be needing a G-tube right now and his leg is even better today! They are switching him over to oral antibiotics this evening so, hopefully home tomorrow!

Update 1-10-23: Aaron's leg is doing better each day. He had a choking incident yesterday though, started turning purple had everyone rush in to help him breath. Water keeps getting into his lungs. They are going to put a G-tube into his belly so we can give him water without it getting into his lungs.

Update: Aaron's infection looks even better today has gone down to just his calf and foot.❤ continued prayers🙏 Thank you!

Update: Aaron's infection is looking pinker not red, IV antibiotics are working 🙌 thank you for prayers and love!❤🙏

Aaron was admitted into the hospital last night with this infection in his right leg. We could use some prayers. 🙏❤

Levi and Alan going into surgery this morning! Need lots of prayers🙏🙏🙏. Alan is fusing most of his back, Levi is getting the lower back finished fusing, 2 years ago he had the uper back fused. Alan is already in surgery now Levi is going in about 11:30am-12:00pm. Tough guys!💪❤
