My Furry Valentine is Greater Cincinnati's Largest Annual Pet Adoption Event.

Conducted over a weekend, it is a great chance for people to meet adoptable animals from numerous local shelters & rescues all under one roof and adopt their new best friend. We are so excited to see everyone at the 2024 My Furry Valentine Adoption event taking place at the Sharonville Convention Center on February 17th and 18th, 2023. We will have hundreds of adoptable animals under one roof, all

available for adoption and waiting for their forever families. This is a family-focused and fun event supporting our community animal rescue and adoption initiatives.

It's National Dog Day! 🐶❤️

Around here, we think every dog deserves something worth celebrating: a safe place to sleep, people who love them and, ultimately, a family to call their own.

So today we're celebrating some VERY good dogs who are still waiting for that last part. 🐾

Meet a few of the adoptable pups currently being cared for by My Furry Valentine participating shelters and rescues.

See someone who makes you stop scrolling? Their rescue can tell you more about them and help determine whether you might be the perfect match.

❤️🐾 150 animals. Just 7 still need foster homes.

Recently, Cincinnati Animal CARE faced the largest animal seizure in the organization's history when 150 animals suddenly came into its care.

And then our community showed up.

In just five days, foster homes were found for nearly every one of those animals. Nearly $25,000 was raised, and almost everything on the shelter's wishlist was purchased. That's pretty incredible. ❤️

Now, just seven animals are still waiting for foster homes:

🐱 1 cat
🦆 1 duck
🪿 1 goose

Your next best friend might already be waiting for you. 🐾❤️

Across Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and the surrounding communities, local shelters and rescues are caring for dogs, cats and other pets hoping to find families of their own.

When you adopt locally, you're not only changing one animal's life. You're also helping create space and resources for another animal who needs help.

And here's something we think is pretty special: My Furry Valentine brings together an incredible network of local shelters and rescue organizations, all with one shared goal — helping more animals find homes.

Over the coming months, we're going to introduce you to more of them...and, of course, plenty of their adorable adoptable animals. 🐶🐱

Happy International Cat Day! 😻🐾

We can't think of a better way to celebrate than by shining a little extra light on the amazing cats and kittens waiting for families right here in our community.

Our My Furry Valentine rescue and shelter partners work year-round to give homeless pets the care, love and second chances they deserve.

If you've been thinking about adding a feline friend to your family, today seems like a pretty great day to start looking. ❤️

Thank you My Furry Valentine adopters! After our final adoption counts from love connections made during the event and our satellite adoptions, our final adoption number for the 2026 event was 781. This puts us over our goal of 10,000 adoptions for our 15th year event. We couldn't have done it without you!

A Second Look for a Second Chance at Love! Thanks to everyone for such a great My Furry Valentine 2026 event. Hundreds of animals found their love connections, which is worth celebrating. There are still some great animals who attended the event and did not make their love connection, though, and we want to give them the Second Chance at Love they deserve. Consider going to meet these animals at their rescue/shelter, which can be seen by looking at their bio.
