Heartism Community Center, Bitterroot Arts for Autism We are a non-profit run by local families, serving children on the autism spectrum and ALL abilities.

Bitterroot Arts for Autism Mission Statement
Bitterroot Arts for Autism will strive to provide education and socialization through the exploration of many arts, including music, dance, creative movement, yoga and a variety of art classes for local children living on the autism spectrum; further, to provide support and education to the parents and families of children with autism in order to maximize the success of the program for all involved.

Society is quick to label people, limit them, and place them into boxes.
But autistic people were never meant to be defined by stereotypes, expectations, or someone else’s idea of who they should be.

This is about more than a box.
It’s about dignity, respect, and the reminder that every person deserves to be seen for who they are — not reduced to a label.

In society’s eyes, people may get placed into different boxes.
But in God’s eyes, we are all equal in worth.
