A wonderful new addition to the walls of our Scout Cabin!

Hamilton Troop 33 was established in 1944, and over the past 82 years, 15 Scoutmasters have led the troop and given their time, energy, and dedication to generations of Scouts.

This beautiful plaque recognizes each of our Scoutmasters throughout Troop 33’s history. It will be a great addition alongside the Eagle Scout plaques and other pieces of our troop’s history displayed throughout the cabin.

A big thank-you to Dave Nevins for having this plaque made and helping us preserve a little more of Troop 33’s history. We’re proud of where we’ve come from and excited for all the Scoutmasters and Scouts who will add to this history in the years ahead.

A few of our Scouts and leaders had a great evening with the Masons at Unity Lodge 191 last night! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and got to be part of an evening celebrating their support of our community, including donations to two scholarship recipients, Grant Me Hope, and Troop 33.

A big thank you to Unity Lodge 191 for their generosity and for letting our Scouts be part of their Christmas tree fundraiser. The donation to Troop 33 will go directly into the Scout accounts of those who helped work the Christmas tree lots.

We truly enjoy working with the Masons and appreciate all they do to support our Scouts!

Our hearts go out to the Scout’s family, friends, fellow Scouts, and leaders during this incredibly difficult time.

Please join Troop 33 in keeping everyone affected by this tragic loss at Owasippe Scout Reservation in your thoughts and prayers. The Scouting community is a close-knit family, and we mourn alongside our fellow Scouts.
